How to setup your Default Profile in Affinidi Vault

Once your Affinidi Vault account is created, your Default Profile will be created automatically.

If you are new to Affinidi Vault, follow these steps to create your account.

Setting Up your Default Profile

  1. On the menu side bar, Select My Profiles. Then, click on Default.

  1. You can edit your ‘Default’ Profile by inputting your data and click Save.

  • Picture URL: You may provide a URL of the image you would like to use as this profile picture.
    (Picture image direct upload will be available soon - Stay tuned!)

  • Profile Name: Input the name that you want your profile to be.
    This would be especially helpful if you have multiple profiles.

  • Profile Description: You can describe this profile that best suits the Profile Name. Eg. Professional, Gaming, Shopping etc.

My Data

You may provide your personal information that you want to keep in the vault, under ‘My Data’.

My Data contains fields to your:

  • Personal Information (Name, Profile Picture, Date of Birth, Gender, Highest Qualification, Phone number, Address)
  • Behaviours (Interests that you may have)
  • Identity Documents (You can input your ID, Passport, Driving license, etc)
  • Different Lifestyle Habits (Travel, Fashion, Movie, etc)

Claimed credentials

The claimed credentials in Affinidi Vault allows you to view all the credentials you have accepted from trusted issuers.

It contains all the available Verifiable Credentials (VC) stored in the profile, including self-attested (where you verify the document by yourself) and 3rd-party issued credentials (where trusted issuers issues you with a VC that has gone through verification by them).

Claimed Credentials cannot be tampered, but can be deleted if you wish to remove it.



Can you delete your default profile?

Unfortunately, you are not able to delete your default profile.
