Ways to access Affinidi Vault
There are various ways you can access Affinidi Vault at the moment. Both applications stores data securely on the local storage of your device (edge):
Using the web browser on your computer, laptop, mobile phone or other devices. Simply use the Affinidi Vault web app.
Download the mobile app android version to securely store and manage your data.
Note to Affinidi Vault users
If you are new to Affinidi Vault, do go through the setup process of creating an account by reading this guide. Depending on the device you are using, the system will prompt you to register using the web app if you are on a desktop or install the mobile app if you are on a mobile device.
If you have an existing Affinidi Vault account on one device, and would like to setup your account on another device, do read this guide on how you can restore your Affinidi Vault either from backup file or from cloud.

Are the web and mobile app version Affinidi Vault the same account?
The web and mobile app version of Affinidi Vault are separate accounts with different Decentralised Identifiers (DID). To use the same Affinidi Vault account across various devices and apps, back up your Affinidi Vault and use it to restore and create an account. Read Guide on how to backup and restore here.
If you are trying to log in to a website using a mobile device and have both the mobile and web apps set up, the system will use the mobile app to authenticate. Otherwise, it will use the web app for both devices.
